Kaisha Building (now Huaxia Bank), M on the Bund boasts a terrace

dinner and drinks. The fine menu changes frequently to take
advantage of fresh local ingredients, but signature dishes include

Brainchild of Australian restaurateur Michelle Garnaut, M on the
Bund -- sister to Hong Kong's award-winning M at the Fringe -- has
received more awards and honors than any other independent
restaurant in Shanghai: when it first opened, the influential Conde
Nast Traveler magazine called it one of "The World's Most Exciting
Restaurants," in 2008, readers of the first Zagat Shanghai restaurant
guide once again named M on the Bund the city's most popular
restaurant, and in 2007, M was named “Best Fusion Restaurant” by
the readers of City Weekend. M on the Bund is one of the Top 20
